Glad to see you drop by...help yourself to a beer from the icebox...fire up a music file... The tunes available here for listening and download are from my recent CD, "Silver Bluff Estates" ...we're featuring a funky, reflective, haunting bunch of songs in the Country & Americana genre. I wrote these songs mostly during "down-time" when I was serving in UN peacekeeping missions in Kosovo, Haiti, and Mozambique. Being far from home stirred up memories of my musical roots in country, folk, blues, jazz, rock...a lifetime of songmaking, songsinging, and guitarpicking. Folks have said my work reminds them of Johnny Cash's late recordings, with touches of John Prine, Rodney Crowell, and Tom Robbins (the novelist). My wife says my artistic approach is Patti Smith, only country. You'll have to decide for yourself...such comparisons make me humble indeed...I have a long way to go, or you might say, I still have lots of headroom!
